The implied meaning of the poem ‘The road not taken’

-so in this poem robert frost, the poet, is representing choices in life, possibly careers, with roads
-the first road he sees is a clear path through the forest, and this represents what most people in society might want in their life
-the road he takes, however, is one that looks as if few people dared to venture into that territory
-the road he takes is the one less people have traveled by, and this may reference his choice to become a poet, as very few people aspire to writing poetry, and he says that it has made all the difference, so maybe his experiences as a poet have given unique oppurtunities and perspectives on life
