Slavery was abolished in France on February 4, 1794. The decree stated: β€œThe Convention declares the slavery of the blacks abolished in all the colonies; consequently all men irrespective of color living in the colonies are French citizens and shall enjoy all the rights provided by the Constitution.”

ANSWER :- Slavery was first Abolished by the French Republican in 1794 , but Napoleon revoked that decree in 1802. in 1815, the Republican Abolished the slave trade but the decree did not effect until 1826.......
