SAARC stands for  ‘South Asian association for Regional Cooperation’ is an welfare organization developed for promoting social, economical and cultural growth in South Asia.

But the overall progress is hampered by various reasons like terrorism, lack of harmony among participating nations, Indo-Pak and Indo-China conflict, determining common interests due to differences in economical structure of different nations.

As SAARC is a indigenous project, internal hegemony among each other also leads to failures.
