Answer:

The ratio of incomes of A and B is 3 : 2 or incomes ofA and B are 3x, and 2x

Ratio of expenses of A and B is 5 : 3 or expenses of A and B are 5y, and 3y

We know that, Savings = Income - Expenses

Savings of A = 3x - 5y = 200 ...(1)

Savings of B = 2x - 3y = 200 ...(2)

Solving these two equations, we get x = 400.

Therefore, Income of A = 3x = Rs.1200

Answer:

Let the Income of A and B be 3n and 2n.

According to the Question :

⇢ A's Income = A (Expenditure + Saving)

⇢ 3n = Rs. 14000 + Rs. 4000

⇢ 3n = Rs. 18000

  • Dividing both term by 3

⇢ n = Rs. 6000

___________________

For B :

⇾ B's Income = B (Expenditure + Saving)

⇾ 2n = Rs. 10000 + B's Saving

  • Putting the value of n

⇾ 2(Rs. 6000) = Rs. 10000 + B's Saving

⇾ Rs. 12000 = Rs. 10000 + B's Saving

⇾ Rs. 12000 – Rs. 10000 = B's Saving

B's Saving = Rs. 2000

Hence, B's Saving will be Rs. 2000.
