In this type of question we use Arithmetic Progressions (AP)

Income of doctor becomes the first term .ie.,,,(a)=22100

Increase in income become the common difference (d)=490

No of months (n)=4

So Total Amount =Fourth term of AP

Total amount=a+(n-1)d

Total amount=22100+(4-1)×490

Total amount =22100+3×490

Total amount=22100+1470

Total amount=23570
