Hey there!
The Income of a man is increased by 600 per month

The ratio between his income and new income = 10 : 11

Let his actual income = x
It is increased by 600 , so new income = x + 600

According to the question :
x : x + 600 = 10 : 11

11x = 10 ( x + 600 )
11x = 10x + 6000
11x - 10x = 6000
x = 6000

Therefore, his Actual income = 6000 Rs.

But the question wants us to find the new income of the person,

New income = x + 600 = 6,600

Therefore, The new monthly income of man is 6,600

[ The question refers to income but didn't refer to particularly monthly or annually, so we found monthly income ]

Answer :

Let

Income of the man = x Rs
Increase in income = 600 Rs
After increment income = x  + 600 Rs

And given ,

 =  >  \frac{old \: income}{new \: income}  =  \frac{10}{11}

 =  >  \frac{x}{x + 600}  =  \frac{10}{11}

⇒11x  = 10x + 6000

⇒x = 6000

Thus New income =6000+600 = 6600 Rs.             (Answer)
