Let the incomes of A,B and C be 5x,4x and 3x and their expenses be 8y,5y and 4y.
ATQ.
₹80=1200–8y
==>8y=1200-80
==>8y=1120
==>y=1120/8=140
Since,A's income,ie 5x,is given ₹1200
==>5x=1200
x=1200/5=240
Therefore,
income of B =4x=4×240=₹960
Expenses of B=5y=5×140=₹700
Savings of B =Income–expenses
=₹960-₹700=₹260
Income of C=3x=3×240=₹720
Expenses of C=4y=4×140=₹560
Savings of C=income-expenses
=₹720-₹560=₹160
So,savings of B and C are ₹260 and ₹160 respectively.

Answer

Let the income of A,B and c be 5x, 4x and 3x and their expenses be 8y,5y and 4y.

ATQ

80=1200-80

8y=1200-80

8y=1120

y=1120/8. =140

since A is income ,ie5x is given rupees 1200

5x=1200

x=1200/5

  • therefore of income B=4x=4×240=960

expense of B =5y= 5×140 =700

saving of B =income-- expenses

=960-700=260

income of C=3x=3×240=720

Expense of C=4y=4×140=560

saving of c=income -expense

=720-560=160

so saving of B and C are 260and160 respectively
