Hey friend nice question
The increase in temperature of water above its boiling point in the pressure cooker is due to compact space. There is vacant place in the pressure cooker because of which the water goes above boiling point and foodstuffs becomes edible.
Hope this helps you.

Hi mate ^_^

_________

In physics , we know , B.P. - boiling point increases when pressure decreases , so in a pressure cooker , the B.P. decreases thus keeping the water vapour inside the cooker helping us in cooking .
Thus , in ur question the 'what' is due to decreament of pressure .

_________

Hope helps !
