The increasing number of vehicles, factories, use of household gadgets and machinery create noise pollution and noise pollution creates hearing problems. Step I : Note down how much noise you and your family members make everyday. Step II : Make a list of avoidable and unavoidable noises. Then write a paragraph on how you can help in reducing noise pollution at your level.

The noises made by a family every day include loud talking and shouting, banging doors, watching TV and listen to the radio on high volume, playing songs on home stereos, using gadgets like mixie, grinder and cooler, noise made by a family member's vehicle and the sound of the horn.

Step 3

In order to reduce noise pollution a person can watch videos and TV or listen to the radio at lower volume. He can be more careful while closing the doors. He should not bang the doors. He can go close to a person and talk softly instead of shouting from one room to another. A person can avoid honking the horn when it is not necessary. He can put a silencer in his vehicle so that it does not add to the noise on the roads.
