Present day party system is full of dynastic arrangements where son or daughter are replacing the party heads.   Infighting within political parties is giving rise to new smaller parties.   Illogical alliances between political parties with different ideologies.   RTI act has not been applicable upon the political parties in India which leads to corruption in public rallies and meetings.

The political structure has gone through many transitory stages since unification, such as that from a single party supremacy in the middle and the states to a multi-party framework since 1977.

Explanation:

  • Governance of the dynasties reigns supreme. Any person is entitled to contest elections but the supremacy of each party's founding families has ensured that control resides within the family. E.g: Congress Gandhi Family, Lalu Yadav Family Supremacy in RJD.
  • The  aspect was the effective leadership of Mr. Nehru:-After Independence Indian nation was like a boy. The world without Congress seemed grim and gloomy. Congress's viability relied on Nehru. Nehru has held the public and the government linked.
  • pre-poll alliances among groups with varying viewpoints and different priorities. E.g: PDP-BJP coalition in Jammu and Kashmir.
