Answer:

William butler Yeats wrote the poem "The Indian upon god".

Explanation:

This poem is written into ten rhyming couplets. The theme of the poem dramatizes the concept that God created man in his own image, creating males and females.

The narrator of the poem (author) finds himself by the edge of water under the trees. His spirit shines in the dim evening light. He sees moor-fowl pacing and begins to think how he would elucidate the existence of author in his own words. He then moves along to other birds playing leisurely.

Finally, the oldest bird tells the poet about an undying moor-fowl living beyond the sky, holding the worlds, who made us strong or weak and rain comes from his wet dripping wings and moon beams from his eyes.

The moor-fowl visualizes his creator having a "Bill" and "Wings" just like him but only more glorious.
