You can survive under ice or in cold water while being unconscious for maximum 10 minutes if not unconscious, you can survive for up to 2 hours and can be revived within this time otherwise cold shock and lose of breathing control may result in death. Cold water implies massive reflex reactions to the body that may include disorientation, lose of breathing control and impaired coordination and cardiac arrest in some cases.
