HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Digestion is the breakdown of large insoluble food molecules into small water-soluble food molecules so that they can be absorbed into the watery blood plasma. In certain organisms, these smaller substances are absorbed through the small intestine into the blood stream.

Answer:

Digestion is the process in which thecarbohydrate, protien, fat that we recieve from food is digested and it provides the nutrients that is required for body.

the digestion process occurs all along the alimentary canal.

  1. At first the food is taken through our mouth. The saliavary amylase secreated by salivary gland partially digest carbohydrates
  2. as the fooddmoves down the food pipe no digestion process takes place.
  3. as it reaches our stomach pepsin secreated by gastric gland partiaaly digests protien. Also the HCl provides an acidic medium for pepsin to act and mucus protect the inner linning of the stomach from the action of HCl.
  4. the bile juice secreated by liver to the stomach provides basic medium forbthe enzymes from pancreas to act.The pancread secreates trypsin which helps in partial digestion of protienand lipase helps in cinverting fat into fat globules
  5. at small intestine interstinal gland secreat interstinal juice wthich cinvetts carbohydrate into glyceril, protien into amino acid, fat globules into fatty acid and glycogen.
  6. in large intestine complete absorption of watet occurs.
