The initial temperature of 150g of ethanol was 22o C. What will be the final temperature of the ethanol if 3240 J was needed to raise the temperature of the ethanol? (Specific heat capacity of ethanol is 2.44 Jo C-1g-1).

heat=mass(g)×specific heat capacity×temperature change(in celcius or kelvin)

3240=150×2.44×dt

dt=8.85or8.9(approx)

t=8.9+22=30.9°C
