We know that, s= ut + 1/2 at2
s= 5 x 50 + 1/2 x 2 x 50 x 50
s= 250 + 1/1 x 1 x 2500 ( I canceled 2 in 1/2 x 2)
s= 250+ 2500
s= 2750m
We know that, v=u+at
v=0 as it comes to rest in the end
u= 5m/s
a= 2m/s 2
t=?
0= 5+2 x t
5= 2t
5/2 = t
t= 2.5 sec
