The inner and outer circumference of a track are 154 m and 266 m. Find the widths of the track​

and,inner radius be r

Therefore,outer circumference=2πR

and,inner circumference=2πr

Also,Width = R-r

Now,

outer circumference-inner circumference

=2πR-2πr

=2π(R-r)

but,

outer circumference - inner circumference=286m-154m

=132m

Therefore, 2π(R-r)=132

=> 2×22/7×(R-r)=132

=>R-r=(132×7)/(2×22)

=>R-r=21

Therefore ,width of the track is 21m.
