The cost of putting a fence along the outer circle  is Rs.15400

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference of circle = 2 \pi r

We are given that inner circumference is 264 m

2 \pi r = 264

2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 264

r = 264 \times \frac{7}{2 \times 22}

r= 42 m

So, Inner radius = 42 m

We are given that  the width of the track is 7m

So, Outer radius = 42+7 = 49 m

Outer circumference = 2 \pi r = 2\times \frac{22}{7} \times 49=308 m

Cost of putting fence of 1 m = Rs.50

Cost of putting fence of 308 m = 50 \times 308 = 15400

Hence the cost of putting a fence along the outer circle  is Rs.15400
