the inner core is solid though it is hotter than the liquid outer core. Give reason

As we go deeper to the interior of earth,the temperature starts increasing.this same happens here the inner core  extends from 5150km to depth 6371 km(earths centre).as the materials in this layer are under extreme pressure, the inner core is in solid state.the temperature here is almost equal to the surface of the sun
