the inner diameter of a cylinder container is 7 cm and its top is of the shape of a hemishphere,as shown in the figure. if the height of the container is16 cm,find the actual capacity of the container. (use22÷7)

Total capacity = volume of cylinder -volume of hemisphere
i.e πr^2 h - 2/3 πr^3
22/7 * 7*7*16 - 2/3*22/7 * 7*7*7
= 2464 - 718.66
=1745.3 cm^3 (centimetre cube)
