The inner diameter of a cylinder wooden pipe is 24cm and its outer diameter is 28cm The length of this pipe is 35cm. Find the mass of a pipe if 1cm^3 of wood has a mass of 0.6 gram.​

Radius of inner cylinder = 24/2 cm= 12 cm

height of cylinder = 35 cm

Volume of wooden pipe = volume of outer radius cylinder - volume of inner radius cylinder

= πR^2h - πr^2h

=πh(R^2 - r^2)

= 22/7 *35(14^2 -12^2)

=110(52)

= 5720 cm^3

since,

mass of 1 cm^3= 0.6g

therefore ,

mass of 5720 cm^3 = 5720*0.6 g

= 3432g

= 3.432 kg
