Given :

The interest on Rs.500 to Rs.60 in 2 years at the same rate per annum.

To Find:

how much time will Rs.800 amounts to Rs.1232 with tha same rate?

Solution:

Principal = Rs.500

Interest = Rs.60

Time = 2 years

Formula : SI=\frac{P \times T \times R}{100}

60 = \frac{500 \times 2 \times R}{100}\\\frac{60 \times 100}{500 \times 2}=R\\6\%=R

Now we are supposed to find how much time will Rs.800 amounts to Rs.1232 with tha same rate?

Interest = Amount - Principal

Interest = 1232-800

Interest =432

Formula : SI=\frac{P \times T \times R}{100}

So,432= \frac{800 \times T \times 6}{100}\\\frac{432 \times 100}{800 \times 6}=T\\9=T

Hence It will take 9 years For  Rs.800 amounts to Rs.1232 with tha same rate
