Cellular respiration is the breakdown of glucose to obtain energy. It has three steps :

Glycolysis

Krebs cycle

Terminal oxidation

Glycolysis occurs in the cytoplasm of the cell in which pyruvate molecules are formed, these pyruvate molecules are then transferred to mitochondria through the inner mitochondrial membrane where it undergoes oxidation and forms acetyl CoA with the help of coenzymes and cofactors , this step connects both the process of glycolysis and Krebs cycle thus called as link reaction .

So, the correct option is ' acetyl CoA'.
