the internal bisector of the angle A of a triangle ABC meets BC at D. If AB=7cm ,AC=6cm and BC=9cm, calculate BD​

Answer:

Let DB = x

Then CD = 12 - x

Using angle bisector theorem,

x/(12−x)=10/6

Solve for x

we get,

DB = 7.5

CD = 4.5
