internal volume of box is 120 x 80 x 50 cms = 480000 cc
volume of each cube is 7x7x7 cms = 343 cc
now divide 480000 by 343 you get 1399.416
now we know that we can fit 1399 whole cubes which occupies a volume of 1399 x 343 = 479857 cc
empty volume is 480000 - 479857 = 143 cc
so the answer is, we can fit 1399 cubes and the empty space is 143 cc
