Given that,

Mass of Nitrogen is 10 gram.

To find,

The internal energy of 10 g of Nitrogen

Solution,

Internal energy of any gas at NTP is given by :

E=n\dfrac{f}{2}T

n is number of moles of Nitrogen, n=\dfrac{10}{28}=0.35\ moles

f is degree of freedom, for nitrogen, f = 5

T is temperature at NTP, T = 273 K

Internal energy becomes,

E=n\dfrac{f}{2}T\\\\E=0.3571\times \dfrac{5}{2}\times 8.31\times 273\\\\E=2025.31\ J

Hence, the correct option is (b).
