Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of the box are 20cm×16cm×24cm.

Edge of the cube = 4cm

Now,

Volume of box =l×b×h

=(20×16×24)cm³

= 7680cm³

Also, volume of cube = a³

= 4³=64

Now, no. of cubes which can be fit into the box =volume of box/ volume of cubes

=7680/64

= 120

I.e.,No. of cubes = 120cubes.

hope it helps you dear.....

Solution :

It is Given that the internal measurements of a box are 20cm long 16cm wide and 24cm high.

Given : Length = 20 cm

Breadth = 16 cm

Height = 24 cm

•°• Volume of Box = 20 × 16 × 24

Now, Volume of Cube = a³

Volume of Cube = (4)³ cm³

Volume of Cube = 64 cm³

Now, According to the Question!

Required Number of cube put into the box = Volume of Box ÷ Volume of 1 cube

Required Number of cube put into the box = 20 × 16 × 24 ÷ 64

= 20 × 24 ÷ 4

= 20 × 6

= 120

Therefore, 120 cubes can be put into the box .
