2(l+b)h = LSA

2(12+8)4 =2(20)4 = 40*4 = 160m²

cost of whitewashing 4 walls =160*8 = Rs 1280

area of 5 walls = LSA+ l*b

                       = 160 + (12*8)

                       = 160 + 96

                       = 256m²

cost of whitewashing vd ceiling = Rs 1280 +(96*8)

                                                 = Rs 1280 + 768

                                                 = Rs 2048

harnoor0245: it is for white washing
harnoor0245: its okk

Dimension of the box = 12cm * 8cm * 4cm

Area of a cuboid = 2[(l * b)+(l * h)+(b * h)]

Area of painting four sides = 2[(l * h)+(b * h)] = 2[(12*4) + (8*4)] = 2(48 + 32) = 2×80 = 160 cm² = 0.016 m²

Cost of painting four sides = 0.016 m²× ₹10.5 / m² = ₹0.168

Area including the top = 2[(l * h)+(b * h)]+(l * b) = 160 + (12*8) = 160 + 96 = 256 cm² = 0.0256 m²

Therefore cast of painting the four sides and the top of box = ₹0.0256 * 10.5 = ₹0.268
