I agree with the fact that introduction of English education helped towards the development of Indian art and literature.
I may argue based on the fact that by that time the English were the only people who were on top in science and art.
Therefore the introduction of English in India helped them to study the latest sciences and than presenting there own ideas and thoughts in way valued by others.
Culture consists of arts and beliefs that passed down to from generation to generation and Indian culture is one of the most popular and beautiful culture of the world and due to the British invasion it leave a great impact on the Indian Culture because language can be used as a communication medium.
The introduction of English language helped towards the development of the Indian art and literature and now India stands at 3rd position in English book producing countries.
English language was promoted by the Europeans with a view to bring emancipation to the souls.
