it connects villages to cities and the villagers were able to transport their goods to cities which also helped them in their business problems . the people of different caste ,gender, were seated together in railway compartments which also helped in showing indian unity but in this also their was benefit of britishers as earlier they were unable to collect raw material from villages but after introduction of railways they were able to collect raw material.
