Answer:The first expression of organised opposition to was the revolt of 1857.It began as a revolt of the sepoys who are indians which are serving under british or european order.It began as a revolt of the sepoys  of the Company's army but eventually secured the participation of the masses. Its causes lay deeply fix in the diservice that all section of india support against the british rule
