Ionization energy of H means

x( \frac{1}{1 {}^{2} }  -  \frac{1}{ \infty  {}^{2} } )

So required energy

x( \frac{1}{ {2}^{2} }  -  \frac{1}{ {3}^{2}} ) = x( \frac{9 - 4}{36} ) =  \frac{5x}{36}
