Explanation:

The decade following Gokul's rebellion corresponded with the period of a strong mughal government. Aurangzeb with the bulk of his forces was present in the north. The vast resources of the Mughal empire were as yet free from that great strain to which they were subjected later on (the second half of Aurangzeb's reign). The chivalrous Rajputs were not yet alienated from the Emperor and were adding to his strength. Some rebellions and wars did not occur in these years that distracted the attention of the government.
