Jefferson Memorial is an Presidential memorial which is dedicated to the President Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) in Washington D.C. He was one of the most important American Founding Fathers. He was main drafter and writer of Deceleration of Independence. Its construction started in 1939 and completed in 1943 , afterwards a statue of Thomas Jefferson was added in 1947.
