There there are many types of thermometer . I am mentioning two types of thermometer.
1) Laboratory thermometer--thermometer is used in laboratory the range of laboratory thermometer is generally from minus 10 degree Celsius to 110 degree Celsius. The bulb is filled with Mercury or alcohol.
2) Maximum-Minimum thermometer--Maximum Minimum thermometer is used to measure the maximum and minimum atmospheric temperature of the day. it is made up of u shaped glass tube with two separate temperature scales set along each term of the use it is filled with alcohol.
