Elbow joint exists between arm and forearm.

This joint is a hinge kind of joint. It serves as the point where three bones articulates or joints. These are :

i) Humerus.

ii) Radius.

iii) Ulna.

This joint is movable, therefore we can move our arm. But since, it is a hinge joint so, it allows movement only in one direction or plane.

The elbow joint serves as the example of a uniaxial type of joint.
