it is a family where ur father, mother, sis, bro, nephew, cousins, uncle, aunt, grandpop, grandmom,etc a big family with aprox. 10-15 members..........i hope it will help u  ;)

joint famil means being united . you,your mom,dad brother grandma,grandpa.etc..being in a joint family is more benefetial than being in a nuclear family
