Answer: kinetic energy is 100J when it is doubled

Kinetic energy is 225J when it is increased three times

Explanation:

v=5m/s

KE=25J

KE=1/2mv^2

25 =1/2×m×5×5

2=m

When velocity is doubled,

v=5x2=10m/s

KE= 1/2x2x10x10

KE=100J

When velocity is increased three times,

v=5x3=15m/s

KE=1/2x2x15x15

KE=225J
