Answer:

1800 ml

Step-by-step explanation:

Let kettle can hold 'x' ml of water(when full).

But here it is just 80% filled.  It means

⇒ volume of water(at 80%) = 80% * x

                           = (80/100) * x

                           = (4x/5)

Now, 20% of the water has been poured out,  that means 100% - 20% = 80 % of the initial amount of water is still in the kettle.

Remaining water(in ketttle) = 80% of initial volume

                           = 80% of (4x/5)

                           = (16x/25)

Given,  there is 1152 ml of water left.

    ∴ 16x/25 = 1152

       x = (1152 * 25)/16

       x = 1800

Volume of water that Keith’s kitchen kettle hold when it's full is 1800 ml

Answer:

 \large \dag Question :-

The kettle in keith's kitchen is 80%full .After 20% of the water in it has been poured out ,there are 1152 ml of water left .What volume of water does Keith's kitchen kettle hold when it is full.

 \large \dag Answer :-

According to the given question, we get the answer is The volume of water does the Keith's kitchens kettle hold when it is full is 1800ml.

 \large \dag Provided that :-

The Kettle in Keith's kitchens is 80%full .After 20% of the water in it has been poured out, there are 1152ml of water left.

According to the given question, we are going to find,

  • What is the volume of water does Keith's kitchens kettle hold when it is full ?

Consider ,

kettle can hold 'x' ml of water when it is full.

  • But in the question given, just the 80%is filled .

Therefore,

The volume of water (for 80%)=80%×x

The volume of water (For 80%)=80/100×(x)

We get,

  • The volume of water (for 80%)= 4x/3.

And also in the question given that,

  • After 20% of the water in it has been poured out .

This means ,

100% - 20% = 80%. ( Of the initial amount of water is still in the kettle )

Then,

  • Remaining water =80% of the initial amount of water.

  • Remaining water =80 of (4x/5.)
  • Remaining water =16x/25.

And ,

Also in the question given that,

  • 1152ml of water has been left .

Therefore,

  • 16x/25 =1152

  • x=1152×25/16

  • x =1800ml

 \large \dag Hence ,

  • This is the perfect answer to your question..
