kwh is the commercial unit of energy

abhaygoel71: ....but 1kwh= 1000w × 3600s= 1000j/s × 3600s= 3.6×10^6Joules
abhaygoel71: it is the difference
abhaygoel71: have you understood?
TheLostMonk: then which one is bigger ? kwh is bigger than joule(energy). so we could assume the unit of power is kwh ! but in modern day it is using as commercial unit of energy but in actual it is bigger unit than the unit of energy ! kwh is a derived unit of power !
abhaygoel71: two different units can't be compared dear
abhaygoel71: and how can we assume kwh as unit of power
abhaygoel71: kwh is same as joule and relation between them is 1kwh= 3.6×10^6Joules
TheLostMonk: where is similarity there? 1kwh=3.6×10^6 joules . joule is smaller than unit than kwh ! don't go according to Google baba ! i. am just talking about the logic ! i already know all what you explained above ! i was just taking you out from there as per the logics ! i was awared about it ! but in technical instruments in physics laboratory ,kwh is considered as Power ! it's used as energy just for commercial purposes ! but actually scientist used it as power!
abhaygoel71: first of all I'm not going according to your so called Google baba. but kwh is the unit of energy not power
TheLostMonk: okk bro. it's just used as energy only for commercial purposes !not everywhere !

Kilowatt-hour is the unit of electrical energy.
Note:-

(I)1kilowatt hour = 1000watt * 3600 Second
= 3.6 × 10^6 watt-second
= 3.6 × 10^6 joule.
(II) kilowatt hour is also named as unit in local areas for measuring of electrical energy

(III) unit means Board of Trade Unit (B.T.U.)
