Answer: The correct answer is 1/2 mv 2

Explanation: The kinetic energy of anybody is considered as the energy which is required to keep the body moving or in motion and it is one-half the product of its mass, m, and the square of its velocity, v, and this energy can differ for different kinds of motion like translational, rotational or straight-line motions. Kinetic energy is also the mesurement of speed as if a body is moving faster the body has high kinetic energy compared to a body moving slower and also there are five types of kinetic energy which are radiant being the first one then there is mechanical then electrical sound and the last one being thermal kinetic energy. It is also called aste moving energy for example if the temperature is raising that means that the molecules are having higher kinetic energy which is increasing the temperature and it is opposite to potential energy which is a form of stored energy at the rest position of anybody.
