k=1/2mv^2

2500=1/2 (50*v^2)

2500=25*v^2

100=v^2

v=10 m/s

Given :-

  • Kinetic energy = 2500 joules
  • Mass of the body = 50 kg

 \\

To find :-

Velocity of the body = ?

 \\

Formula used :-

 \pink{ \dag \:  \:  \boxed{ \sf{k.e =  \dfrac{1}{2} mv {}^{2} }}} \\

Where

★ k.e is the Kinetic energy

★ m is the mass of the object

★ v is the velocity with which the body is moving.

 \\

Solution :-

Applying the above mentioned formula,

 \sf{k.e = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 50 \times  {v}^{2} } \\  \\

 \leadsto \:  \:  \sf{2500 =  \frac{1}{2} \times 50 \times  {v}^{2}  } \\  \\

 \dashrightarrow \:  \sf{2500 = 25 \times  {v}^{2} } \\  \\

 \dashrightarrow \:  \sf{ {v}^{2}  =  \dfrac{2500}{25} } \\  \\

 \dashrightarrow \:  \sf{ {v}^{2} = 100 } \\

 \dashrightarrow \:  \sf{v =  \sqrt{100} } \\

 \therefore \boxed{ \boxed{ \bf{v = 10 \: m/s}}} \\

\\
