The kinetic energy of a particle of mass (m=constant ) and speed V are related as kinetic energy = mv 2 /2 . If increment in speed is 150%, then the increment in it's kinetic energy is. a) 500% b)425% c)525% d)625%

If the velocity increases by 150 % its velocity becomes 2.5 of the initial.then on finding the increase in velocity , its increase in kinetic energy become 1/2m5.25v^2 and is 6.25 of the initial K.E. So on finding its percentage its increment is 525 %.
