kinetic\: energy=\frac{1}{2}mv^2

36 =  \frac{1}{2} m \times 12 {}^{2}

72 = m \times 144

m =  \frac{36}{144}

m = 0.25

Answer:

Given,

Kinetic energy (K.E) = 36J

Velocity = 12m/s

To find:-

Mass

We know that, K.E = 1/2mv^2

36 = 1/2×m×144

36 = 72m

m = 36 / 72

m = 0.5kg.
