mass, m moving with a velocity
of 5 m sil is 25 J. What will be its
kinetic energy when its velocity
is doubled? What will be its
kinetic energy when its velocity
is increased three times?

Answer:

mass- m kg , K.E 25J

KINETIC ENERGY =1/2MV²

25=1/2(M)×(5m/s)²

M=25×2/25

M=2kg

case (1)

kinetic energy when its velocity is doubled

then,

Kinetic energy=1/2mv²

=1/2(2)(2×5)²

=100J

kinetic energy when its velocity is three times

then,

Kinetic energy=1/2mv²

=1/2(2)(3×5)²

=150J

THEREFORE

(1) WHEN VELOCITY IS DOUBLE THEN KINETIC ENERGY IS INCREASED 4 TIMES INCREASE..

(2)when its velocity is increased three times

then kinetic energy increased by 6 times..
