Let the initial kinetic energy be K.E1 and final be K.E2.

Initial velocity be V1 and final be V2.

We know,

kinetic energy= ½×m×V² . According to the question V2= 10m/s , V1= 5m/s therefore square of V1 = 25 and that of V2= 100.

K.E1 = 25J, we have to find out K.E2.
