The kinetic energy possed by a car of mass 400kg at any instant is 28.8KJ.Find the velocity of the car at that instant.Now if the velocity of the car is half at any instant what will be its Kinetic energy at that instant.

Potential energy of body= 5kg×10m/s²×5m = 250 Joule

Since gravity is a conservative force, if we neglect, air friction, the energy of body at any time during the fall would be 250 Joule.

Energy at any instant of time = potential energy at the height at which it is at that instant of time + kinetic energy it has gained at the cost of potential energy in falling through the height= 250 Joule.
