Heya !
_____

________________________________________________________
★Probability ★
________________________________________________________

=> Deck consists of 52 cards :

★ 4 Kings , 4 Queens , 4 Jacks

→ When King , Queen and Jack of club are removed , we are left with ★ 3 Kings , 3 Jacks and 3 Queens. Also ,

=> Cards remaining = 52 - 3

=> 49 ............[ Total Outcomes ]

★ A card is drawn at random :
________________________

1. ] P ( a king )

=> We know ,

•°• Probability = Favourable Outcomes / Total Outcomes

→ Total Outcomes = 49

→Favourable Outcomes = 3 ( as 1 king is removed )

=> P ( a king ) = 3 / 49 ✔

2. ] P ( a ten or Hearts )

=> We know ,

•°• Probability = Favourable Outcomes / Total Outcomes

→Total Outcomes = 49

→Favourable Outcomes = 1

=> P ( Ten of Hearts ) = 1 / 49 ✔

Hey\:!!..

The answer goes here....

_______________________________________

》To find -

Find the probability of getting -

1. A king

2. The 10 of hearts.

》Given -

King, Queen and Jack of club is removed.

》Solution -

A deck of cards contain 52 cards. A deck contains 4 Queen, 4 King and 4 Jacks.

And the deck contains 4 ranks - clubs (♧), diamond (◇), spades (♤) and hearts (♡).

Since, one king, one queen, and one jack is removed. Therefore we have total 3 kings, 3 queen and 3 jacks left.

Also, the total card left is 52-3=49.

Now, the probability of getting a king -

\frac{No.\:of\:possible\:outcomes}{Total\:outcomes}

\frac{3}{49}

So, the probability of getting a king is \frac{3}{49} .

Now, the probability of getting 10 of hearts -

\frac{No.\:of\:possible\:outcomes}{Total\:outcomes}

\frac{1}{49}

So, the probability of getting a 10 of hearts is \frac{1}{49} .
