supreme power :king

the king was the supreme power or important in mahajanapad because the king was very powerful and maintained a large army. a king would lead the mahajanpad into war and help conquer new lands.the strength of the mahajanapad would usually be equal to the strength of the king. magadh had the most powerful king and was therefore the most powerful empire.
