Davies, the poet suggests to the bird to go and live with the   the peacock in the green parks or lawns which are as smooth as the glass which shines. He asks the Kingfisher to allow every feather of it to show its marks. The poet asks the kingfisher to perch itself on the branches of the trees in front of the windows of the palaces in which the proud kings live  and clap its wings
