Answer:

The kodavus are fiercely independent people with great marital skills in them. They are descendants of the greeks or the arabs who have been reminiscing their customs and traditions. They are to be appreciated for their bravery. It has been recognised by achieving many awards. The coorg regiment is the most decorated with furious and brave men. General Cariappa, the first chief of indian army was also a coorgi.

Their style of living, with various arts and craft and methods of learning are different. They also resemble their anscestors by wearing the peculiar dress known as kuppia(kuffia). Carrying these traditions bring them a sense of belonging.
